Started out in private practice (Gerald Eve, Donaldsons and Michael Laurie).
From 1990, spent 12 years at Hammerson implementing the company’s investment strategy and development projects, the most notable being The Oracle Reading, West Quay Southampton and Bullring Birmingham (created JV, site assembly, scheme design and anchor lettings).
Moving to Bride Hall (2002), purchased shopping centres in Edinburgh, Chester, Edgware, Epsom, Bradford and Newbury – implementing development and investment initiatives.
Working with Dover Harbour Board as strategic partner to deliver the masterplan.
Charlie is a Chartered Surveyor and founder of Octavia Estates. He works with Bride Hall Real Estates Partners on joint venture residential projects.
Started out as a quantity surveyor and spent 7 years working in private practice and local government.
In 1986, moved into project management, joining Heery in London.
Joined Bride Hall in 1989. Responsible for all aspects of project management from inception to completion, across all sectors: retail shopping centres, both city centre and campus offices and award winning industrial developments.
1989, Chairman of Edward Erdman. Merged with Clive Lewis and Partners in 1991, to become Edward Lewis. Oversaw integration with Colliers to become Colliers Erdman Lewis.
Created own business in 1996, advising on strategy, development, finance, leasing and disposal of over 50 shopping centres (including Liffey Valley Dublin and The Merry Hill Centre Dudley).
From 1998, created JVs with Catalyst Capital involving the purchase and sale of circa £1.5billion of retail assets.
